TLC total legal care is the result of several years of research and development work and the fulfilment of our vision to provide an affordable and complete legal solution for business, A solution that meets the full range of legal issues facing you today´s increasingly regulated and litigious environment.

Of course, there have been employment protection policies before and there are plenty of cheap or free commercial legal expenses covers for £50 or so- but they do not do the job, as many solicitors will testify. The call centres for these types of policy are skilled in claims evasion and often leave you with large uninsured compensation claims to fund.
After all - how much time of a good lawyers time would you expect to buy for  peanuts?

We were concerned to fill the gap in the market for a product with integrity - and by that we mean one that both combines independent professional advice with an insurance policy that pays claims fairly. Such products are clearly going to be a bit dearer, but what they do is give the business stability of costs and greater profit certainty.

The concept is to provide a full legal assistance and breakdown service for business, one that will protect the balance sheet against unexpected legal costs, help finance the taking of actions as well as defending them and will effectively act as an in-house legal department or an out-sourced HR resource.

Most importantly TLC is designed to protect not only the business entity itself - but also the managers and directors of the firm who could now lose their personal wealth as a consequence of more than 200 offences for which they could be personally liable.

Important information

TLC total legal care is not a fully intermediated product- that means we do not usually shop around or ‘broker’ every risk to find the best price. That would be difficult as few UK insurers are licensed for important elements of cover for directors that we have incorporated.
Instead, we built a product specification and then selected the insurers who could meet our requirements. Likewise we have carefully vetted the law firms who supply our legal advice and claims handling services. The result is a wide cover that is market tested on price and offers a cost-effective combination of advice and protection plus consistent and high standards of personal service.

The Providers

TLC total legal care has been designed and marketed by diB Insurance Ltd an independent FCA regulated insurance intermediary. Our principal insurance partners are very secure, being two of the biggest specialist insurers in the world.

diB Insurance is managed by Brian Dunk who is a specialist in commercial insurance and legal expenses. Brian has the highest professional qualifications in insurance and marketing, he represented the legal insurance sector in discussions with Government in 2006 and has also been recognised by the insurance industry in recent years with 3 major awards for innovation and product development to his credit.
